Ferrari delayed, Carlos Sainz’s social promise

A clear message addressed to the fans at a difficult time.

Carlos Sainz calls out to Ferrari supporters. The Spaniard finished in an anonymous sixth place at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, moreover preceding teammate Charles Leclerc at the finish line. This places him only fourth in the Formula 1 drivers’ standings, 24 points behind leader Max Verstappen. Even eighth is his teammate. Reason why the Madrid native decided to write a social post intended for the fans of the Cavallino.

“To all our fans, thank you for your unconditional support. I know we are not in the position we would like to be, but we are Scuderia Ferrari and I am sure we can change the situation together, looking forward and never giving up. Forza Ferrari!” wrote Sainz.

Ferrari has so far collected 26 points in the championship: in the first two races Sainz finished once fourth and once sixth, while Leclerc collected only a seventh place. In the constructors’ championship, the Maranello team is fourth, preceded by Red Bull, Aston Martin and Mercedes.
