MotoGp, Bastianini confident: “I will have to go fast right away”

During the usual press conference for the presentation of the Portimao GP, Enea Bastianini spoke about his feelings ahead of his debut on the Ducati and about the rivalry with teammate Pecco Bagnaia.

“I’m really excited to run my first race with Ducati. We worked really well in testing and we are ready for this first weekend. The Sprint Race will be a game changer for everyone. I will have to try to go fast right from the start,” the Rimini rider began at the microphones of Sky Sports.

“The 2022 season was above my expectations and doing better will be very complicated. There are so many drivers who can win the title, so I don’t know who is the favorite at the moment. I think my first rival is Bagnaia because he wears number 1 and is the defending champion. I will have to come up with something special to be able to beat him,” Bastianini concluded.
