The Spaniard is unlucky during the second day of MotoGp testing at Misano

If Fabio Quartararo and Pecco Bagnaia can smile at the conclusion of the second and final day of MotoGp testing in Misano (for El Diablo best overall time – and track record – with 1:31.054, 118 thousandths better than the Ducatista), the same cannot be said of Aleix Espargaró, who despite setting the fifth fastest time overall ends the day with the little finger of his left hand in a cast after a fall at Turn 13 of the circuit dedicated to Marco Simoncelli.

“I was a bit unlucky, I fell in a very fast corner,” the Aprilia rider told ‘motorsport.com’. I have a fracture, but I don’t think it will prevent me from racing the Aragon Grand Prix. I will be seen by Dr. Xavier Mir this week to further verify the injury.” Doctors who examined him after the crash would still rule out the need to operate on the fractured finger.

Espargaró also wanted to laugh about it a bit through social media: shortly after posting a photo on Instagram with cyclist Primoz Roglic, who visited him in the pits, he posted another one commenting, “The worst thing is that tomorrow I can’t ride my bike,” still showing a smile.
