Pecco Bagnaia unmasks the Honda driver

Newly crowned world champion and Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia spoke about the return of Marc Marquez after a long absence following a fractured right humerus. Already in the last races of the season that has just ended, the Honda rider has shown that he is back on form.

“Marc is already back, and it showed well in the season finale how after the last operation he was already 100 percent. His limit, if anything, this year was the bike, but we will see what work they will do during the winter at Honda,” the Ducati rider explained in an interview with ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Did he say that Quartararo lost to the best bike? It means he started playing his psychological games, and I’m fine with that. They’ve been saying all year anyway that we won because of the better bike, but in the end one won, me,” Bagnaia continued.

The Italian and the Spaniard, in 2022, finished 152 points apart in the standings. Bagnaia won the MotoGP with 265 points while the eight-time world champion collected 113, taking part in 12 Grands Prix out of the 20 on the schedule.
