MotoGp, Ducati: Enea Bastianini knows what he’s missing
Bastianini is confident of a further jump on Saturday
The first day of the debut race weekend in the official Ducati team was not exactly one to remember for Enea Bastianini, 15th in the morning session and 10th in the afternoon session.
The 25-year-old from Romagna spoke on the sidelines of free practice: “This morning I felt a little displaced – he admitted initially – , I was hoping to pick up where we left off in testing. I suffered from less grip and the wind, but in the afternoon I was able to work better. It’s too bad about the two red flags, but most of all I’m sorry for Pol. I hope he recovers soon.”
“My pace improved throughout the day, I made some small mistakes but the second ‘time attack’ was faster. I don’t lack the pace, I just lack some of that feeling with the bike that can make me faster. We will keep working on it.”
