After the numerous physical problems that have affected his last two seasons, Gaetano Castrovilli has regained his smile and with the good evidence provided in the last month (despite playing only game segments) has convinced the purple leadership to accelerate negotiations for the renewal of his contract, which expires in 2024.

In order to convince the Apulian player of the goodness and, above all, the continuity of the project undertaken with Vincenzo Italiano on the bench, the lily club has ready a triptych of further renewals: according to reports in the ‘Corriere Fiorentino,’ negotiations are advanced for defenders Igor and Martinez Quarta, while with Riccardo Saponara there is the intention to rediscuss from scratch the contractual terms (the current agreement expires in June) but there is optimism on both sides.

Fiorentina’s idea is to confirm the main core of the squad available to Italiano, supplementing it with new signings during the upcoming summer market.
