A harsh comment after the events in Portimao.

Pecco Bagnaia, at the end of the authoritatively won Portuguese Grand Prix, also dwelt on the incident between Marc Marquez and Miguel Oliveira. And the MotoGP world champion sends a full-blown dig at his Catalan colleague, although he does not mention him directly.

“I know that Oliveira took a big hit. First and foremost I hope he’s okay,” Bagnaia told ‘Sky Sport.’ “The season debut leads one to increase one’s aggressiveness a little bit, especially if there are problems with the pace. My hope, however, is that these are dynamics that are only daughters of the fact that this was the first race.”

“Everyone spent Saturday criticizing the Sprint, however, my impression is that the main Grand Prix also ended the same way. So the issue is not having a 12-lap race with the soft tire or a 25-lap race with the medium tire. What changes is the approach each rider takes on the track,” Bagnaia concluded.
