Brindisi, Vitucci categorical: “We aim to get the best possible playoff spot”

During an interview given to the microphones of “Corriere dello Sport,” the coach of Happy Casa Brindisi spoke about the goals of the Apulian team in this championship finale and the comeback made after a slow start.

“At the end of the first half of the season we slipped to the right side of the standings and did not go to the Italian Cup. We got over it, kept our heads down and worked even harder. Now we believe in the playoffs and we are aiming to get the best possible position ahead of the post-season. If I have to focus on a goal, I think about Sunday’s challenge against Tortona,” said the coach of the Apulians about the goals to be pursued.

“The addition to the roster of Harrison and Lamb has brought obvious benefits, not only in terms of the standings, but also in terms of our game. We have changed our set-up and we are reaping the benefits of some of the choices we made that might have even seemed difficult. I don’t like too much to change tactics on the run, but this time we really needed it,” Vitucci added.
