Sofia Goggia recounts her greatest fear
Sofia Goggia speaks with an open heart
Sofia Goggia, during an interview with the weekly magazine ‘Oggi,’ not only talked about her great victories on the ski slopes, but also wanted to touch on a sensitive topic, that relating to her fears.
“Some times in the morning I get out of bed and I know I will struggle to do the stairs,” he revealed. “I live with this feeling of physical pain in my legs, battered by injuries and operations, and it’s a frustration. But what really scares me is the pain in my soul. I grew up with an inner restlessness, my race is not from the starting gate to the finish line but it is outside of competitions.”
“My biggest fear is that of never being enough,” she added. “On the one hand it is a purposeful drive to achieve my goals. On the other hand it is something pathological, my always feeling a little bit wrong. I can’t accept anything other than the idea of perfection.”
