Program modified for the Italian Absolute Cross-Country Skiing Championships on the Dobbiaco track. The high temperatures in fact prevented the track from being prepared for the originally scheduled distance races, so the Nordic Arena free-technique sprints, along a ring of just over a kilometer, were brought forward to Saturday, which recorded the domination of Federico Pellegrino and Federica Sanfilippo, for a one-two punch for the Fiamme Oro Moena. After the relays, it was the turn of the fast races to put on a show at the Nordic Arena Toblach on a snow ring just over a kilometer long.

The Valdostan from Nus, after recording the best time in the qualifying heats, easily controlled the situation in the final heats as well, until the final run, which ended ahead of Giacomo Gabrielli (Centro Sportivo Esercito) and Michael Hellweger (Centro Sportivo Carabinieri), while Sanfilippo took advantage of the fall in the salient stages of Nicole Monsorno who appeared in a good position, preceding Iris De Martin Pinter (Centro Sportivo Carabinieri) and Nadine Laurent (Fiamme Oro Moena) at the finish line.

Tricolor titles were also awarded in the under-23 category, where Aksel Artusi (Sporting Club Livigno) swept the field ahead of Matteo Franzoni (Polisportiva Molina di Fiemme) and Teo Galli, his clubmate. Among women, Lucia Isonni (Centro Sportivo Esercito) won over Melissa Dandrea (Cortina) and Ylvie Folie (Sesvenna). Sunday, April 2, was the last day of the Absolute events with the team sprints in free technique.
