On the back of the eight podiums won so far in the season (made up of two successes, one second and five third places), the biathlon team è ready to tackle the sixth World Cup stage of the’year, on the Italian snows of Antholz.

The famous resort in Val Pusteria hosts from Thursday, Jan. 18 the protagonists of the specialty, who will compete in the first day in the men’s short individual (2:20 p.m.), followed Friday, Jan. 19 by the women’s short individual (2:20 p.m.), while on Saturday, Jan. 20 it’s the turn of the mixed individual relay (12:55 p.m.) and mixed relay (2:45 p.m.), closing Sunday, Jan. 21 with the men’s mass start (12:30 p.m.) and women’s mass start (2:45 p.m.). All races will be broadcast live on Raisport and Eurosport.

After two stages of absence, the Italian team recovers Dorothea Wierer, who will be at the start along with Lisa Vittozzi (third in the overall standings with 606 points behind Ingrid Tandrevold with 666 and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet with 657), Samuela Comola, Rebecca Passler, Sara Scattolo (all’absolute debut on the highest circuit) and Michela Carrara among the women, while the men’s side è consisting of Didier Bionaz, Elia Zeni, Tommaso Giacomel, Patrick Braunhofer and Lukas Hofer. This is the’last event before the rainbow event in Nove Mesto (Cze), scheduled from February 7 to 18.
