Pecco Bagnaia spoke at the end of qualifying in Argentina: “At the end, when I decided to change to slicks, the track was still not quite right, especially sector 1 was quite difficult. I’m happy because these are conditions in which I usually struggle, instead today we managed to reach the front row, which is the most important objective. It wasn’t easy, in turn 2, on the good lap, I risked a lot to get in, but you have to do that so I’m very happy.”

“The Sprint Race in these conditions can be quite difficult, however, this morning there were already puddles on the track and we got used to them. Qualifying went well, so we got used to it even more. Should it be totally wet it can be another story, but hopefully there will be good conditions,” concluded the world champion.
