Ten million pounds for a match without sharpness
Joshua’s highly anticipated comeback did not convince anyone. The British boxer, fresh off two defeats, returned to the ring, at London’s O2 Arena, to take on the unexcelled Franklin. Joshua, hailed by his audience, won the match on points (118-111 and double 117-110).
A victory that confirmed how Joshua is by no means yet the great boxer admired in the past. At times, the British outfielder seemed very predictable in his blows. It should be noted that, for his return to the ring, Joshua collected a purse of 10 ten million pounds total. We will have to wait for more probing matches to see if Joshua will return to his true level.
