F1, Charles Leclerc makes no excuses: ‘Big frustration’
Monegasque disappointed with super negative start to season
At the microphones of Sky Sports, Leclerc commented on his untimely exit at the Argentine GP. In the first lap, after a contact with Stroll, he was, in fact, forced to retire: “In Turn 3 there was space on the outside. Unfortunately, Alonso had to brake and Stroll was in an uncomfortable position and it happened. It’s not Stroll’s fault, it’s a racing accident.”
The Ferrari driver gave his personal assessment of this negative start to the season (two retirements out of three races held), “The frustration is big. Everything has gone wrong in these first GPs. The retirements and the disqualification. We have to recover quickly,” his words at the end of a GP that did not feature him.
