Reached by TorinoGranata.it, Andrea Ardito took stock of Torino’s season: “For Torino’s goal has to be continuity and maybe getting to eighth position, it’s realistic. There are so many teams clustered in a few points and going from eighth to thirteenth place takes little, however, it matters a lot to finish the season well. Finishing eighth would also be important in perspective for next year.”

The former granata midfielder has a wish: “It would be nice for there to be continuity of results, something that has been somewhat lacking since Torino has been on and off throughout the season. And that maybe it would also coincide with the club and the coach coming out of the closet to move forward together next year so that we can quietly plan a new season trying to raise the bar a bit. That would be nice and I think that’s what a little bit of all the fans of Toro are hoping for.”

“Last year there was the possibility of coming to Torino in the youth sector, I had talked about it with Ludergnani and Cairo, then, unfortunately, due to family problems it could not materialize. I am so sorry because it would have been very nice to come back to Toro, but I profered to stay in lower categories,” Ardito concluded.
