Daniil Medvedev unveils key to beating Jannik Sinner

Daniil Medvedev confirmed himself as a real black beast for Jannik Sinner: for the sixth time in as many previous matches, the Russian defeated the Italian in the final of the Miami Masters 1000 with a score of 7-5 6-2.

At the press conference Medvedev explained why he always manages to win against the South Tyrolean tennis player: “For some reason my shots don’t allow him to play his game and his winners. I don’t do it on purpose but it’s a pattern and I notice it in all our matches, he made big wins in this tournament and before, maybe I read his game better and push him to make mistakes.”

“However I feel he is taking a step forward this year, he is making fewer mistakes and getting closer to the top. From my point of view I still hope to continue to create these difficulties for him,” added the Slam champion.
