Jannik Sinner, Corrado Barazzutti now gets out of line
Former Italian national team captain: “He has clear ideas about where to go.”
Former Italtennis captain Corrado Barazzutti to Lapresse opened up about Jannik Sinner after the final reached at the Miami Masters 1000: “Jannik continues to grow and is one of the candidates to become the number 1 of the future. The best second still remains Djokovic who, however, will stop in two or three years and so the field will remain open.”
“Jannik is among the top in the World and is expected to go all the way also to finally win a major tournament, a Masters 1000 or a Slam,” Barazzutti assured.
On the final lost to Medvedev: “The Russian is someone who makes very few mistakes, always makes him play an extra ball and serves very well. Paradoxically for Sinner it is better to face a brighter player like Alcaraz, who attacks more and something concedes.”
