Juventus-Inter, Inzaghi sheds light on Lukaku

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi also spoke about what happened in the Juventus-Inter final: “Lukaku’s jubilation was misunderstood, he scored a goal and always exults like that. Unfortunately, it resulted in a paraphernalia that was not nice to see, it will deprive us of two key players in the return semifinal like Lukaku and Handanovic.”

On the goal conceded: “We should have come out earlier on Rabiot, there were two players who could have avoided the cross. We made too tight a diagonal and Cuadrado’s shot went past Handanovic. We should not have taken that goal with 12 minutes left because there were no warnings. But I am very satisfied with an aggressive game by my team on a pitch where it is difficult to play. The result could have been different but I take the performance, the judgment would not have changed even if we had lost.”
