Coppa Italia, Cremonese-Fiorentina 0-2

Fiorentina put a serious mortgage on qualifying for the Coppa Italia final by beating Cremonese 2-0 at the home of the grigiorossi, at the ‘Zini’.

It was one goal per half that gave the Viola success: the lead came in the 20th minute thanks to a winning header by Cabral, who took full advantage of a cross from Biraghi. The double, on the other hand, came in the 75th minute, when Nico Gonzalez beat Sarr from the penalty spot after a real “save” by Aiwu on the goal line, which also caused a red card for the Austrian.

Final match without any other jolt: next April 27 the return match will be played at the ‘Franchi’, with Cremonese called to a real feat in front of a team that is confirming itself among the most in form at this stage of the season.
