Lecce, Baroni prepares changes for match with Napoli
Baroni’s words on the eve of Lecce-Napoli
Marco Baroni presented at a press conference the upcoming league match, scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. against Napoli.
“We have trained well these days, except Askildsen who had a small intestinal problem in the night. We, with the usual balance, are aware that we have to bring the episodes on our side trying to concretize the situations created. The team, even during these negative results, has always maintained the right compactness,” the Lecce coach began.
“Every match has its own story. We must not think about the result, but think about going strong the whole game, minute by minute,” Baroni continued. “So far we have worked in this way and this is the only way forward. We will find the key, it is in our group. Our people have always rallied around us. Now it’s up to us to rekindle ourselves from the point of view of results, because the performances have not been lacking, but we need to score goals to regain peace of mind and points. We are focused and ready to reach our goal.”
Finally, he announced changes for the challenge against the partenopei: “There is still some small verification that I have to do, to understand the recovery condition of some players. Definitely some fresh forces we will put in, keeping our identity. Colombo or Ceesay? Let’s see, I’ll make my evaluations overall and we’ll see. A thought also goes to the warnings, of course.”
