Lorenzo Musetti doesn’t stop and sheds light on his physical problem
Musetti to the quarters in Marrakech despite an adductor problem
Lorenzo Musetti overcame the obstacle posed by Hugo Gaston and, winning 6-2, 6-3 in just 70′ of play, qualified for the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Marrakech, Morocco.
Despite dominating the game, Musetti was forced to seek medical attention during the second set, causing the team in his wake and the Italian fans to worry for a moment. “I was playing well until I felt a discomfort in the adductor of my right thigh,” he said on the sidelines of the match. “However, it’s nothing serious, I’m very happy to have resumed playing without any other problems, all the way to victory.
Regarding participation in the tournament, Musetti clarified, “I arrived at the last moment and it was not very easy to adapt to the field conditions. Fortunately they let us play on the center court, I thank the organization for deciding this way.”
