Inter, Simone Inzaghi expresses all his regrets
Simone Inzaghi chews bitterly
Simone Inzaghi commented on his Inter team’s draw at home to Salernitana (with the hosts’ goal signed by former Nerazzurri Candreva in the 90th minute) to the microphones of ‘Dazn’, without hiding his regret.
“We all saw the game, the team played very well after only two and a half days from the match with Juventus,” the Piacenza coach said, dark in the face. “The problem was not scoring the second goal, right now we are paying for not being able to ‘kill’ matches and this thing puts us in difficulty.
“As a coach, though, it is really hard to explain this result after all the chances we had,” Inzaghi added. “We are all disappointed: staff, players, club, our fans whom I thank for cheering us on from start to finish.
“What do we have to do? Work harder, even if this team is already putting in a lot of effort and on the field has shown that it is superior: however, we are here commenting on a 1-1 draw…” concluded the Inter coach.
