Toprak Razgatlioglu wants MotoGp: clear message to Yamaha
Toprak Razgatlioglu wants MotoGp.
Toprak Razgatlioglu, interviewed by ‘Speedweek,’ openly stated that he wants to make the jump from Superbike to MotoGp at the end of this season, the last one that sees him contractually bound to the Pata Yamaha Prometeon team, among the protagonists of the championship dedicated to production derivatives.
“I don’t want to announce anything,” the Turk began, “but I dream of racing in MotoGp. In 2021 I was World Superbike champion, now I look at MotoGp and think, ‘Why not try there?'”
Razgatlioglu’s first choice would be Yamaha to continue the relationship that began in 2020, but staying with the House of the Three Tuning Forks is not necessarily the only option: “I can play my chances as a Yamaha rider, but if it doesn’t work out I could look to other Houses. My dream is to fight at the top of MotoGp, maybe win the title: so yes, for next year I aim to race there. It’s still early, though, to say what will happen.”
