Gunther Steiner is still furious with Mick Schumacher.
Gunther Steiner’s words
Gunther Steiner, team principal of Haas, in his book “Surviving to Drive,” returned to talk about Mick Schumacher.
At the center of it all is what happened during Free Practice 1 of the 2022 Suzuka GP, when the German driver lost control of his single-seater on the lap following the practice start after the session was over: “It happened during the fo**king in-lap! On the in-lap! It was very wet, but no one else managed to destroy a car on the re-entry lap. I can’t deal with a driver who is incapable of bringing the car back intact to the pits on a slow lap, it’s just ridiculous. How many people could I have hired with $700,000?”
