Milan, Stefano Pioli smiles: the infirmary empties ahead of Napoli
Pierre Kalulu returns to available
Despite the discontent following the disappointing 0-0 home draw with Empoli, Stefano Pioli is finding a reason to be optimistic ahead of the Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Napoli: in fact, the Rossoneri’s infirmary is gradually emptying, with the recovery of Pierre Kalulu who returned to training with the group on Tuesday.
Kalulu had been out since late March, when he sustained a calf injury while playing with the France Under-21 shirt. With his return, Pioli may also decide to rely on a four-man defense, deploying the Frenchman on the right flank.
The Parma coach will therefore have all those on the Champions list at his disposal; Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the only Rossoneri stopped due to injury, is in fact not part of the European list.
