AC Milan, agreement one step closer for Olivier Giroud’s renewal
One of the priorities at AC Milan is to define the future of Olivier Giroud, whose contract expires at the end of the season. Contacts between the parties have reportedly already been initiated and in recent days there has been an acceleration in negotiations.
According to reports in the “Corriere dello Sport,” management and the player have reportedly reached an agreement in principle for the renewal. The striker would be ready to sign a one-year extension until June 2024 with a salary of 3.5 million euros plus bonuses.
Milan and Olivier Giroud will continue their adventure together for at least one more season, soccer market permitting.
