The last scheduled match on the center court of the Monte Carlo Country Club is the derby between Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti. The two blues face off to earn a spot in the semifinals of the Monaco Masters 1000.
On this blue-tinged super challenge even Italian tennis legend Nicola Pietrangeli wanted to have his say: “Musetti’s victory did not surprise me, I had bet five euros on Djokovic not succeeding and I won. Now Binaghi and I also made a bet on these quarters: I say Musetti. He is not the strongest, but he is definitely the one who plays better. Sinner is more complete, but Musetti plays tennis that I prefer. So my money is on him.”
