Guru Mouratoglou gives his verdict on Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz

Celebrated tennis coach: “Jannik Sinner will win Slams and Masters 1000s but he is not like Alcaraz and Djokovic.”

Patrick Mouratoglou, tennis guru coach formerly coaching champions such as Serena Williams, Simona Halep and Stefanos Tsitsipas, in an interview with Tennis Majors made a comparison between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

“Sinner is progressing very well, but he is not like Alcaraz, who is not afraid of anyone and is already beating everyone at the age of 19. He is not that kind of player, but Jannik has an incredible game. He has no weaknesses and is playing tennis that he couldn’t do six months ago. He has power on both sides and moves very well.”

“He will win Slams and Masters 1000s,” Mouratoglou continued, “I don’t doubt it, but I don’t think he has the personality of Alcaraz or Djokovic. He hesitates more and needs to be confident during matches, so it takes him longer to get to the top,” the coach explained.
