Juventus mocked, midfielder goes to Roma

The championship is not yet over but Roma is already at work to reinforce the squad available to José Mourinho. In recent weeks Tiago Pinto has met with Houssem Aouar’s entourage and the agreement with the player is one step away. The midfielder was also in the sights of Juventus, which, however, will most likely now have to change its plans.

Raised in Lyon, Houssem Aouar landed in the first team in the summer of 2017. After an initial period of adaptation, he proved to be one of the most valuable young midfielders in all of France in 2020. His performances attracted the attentions of several clubs (Juventus and Arsenal first and foremost) but the player decided to stay at Lyon. In June his contract will expire and he will be free to move on a zero-parameter basis.
