Liverpool trades Leeds for Wimbledon
Leeds-Liverpool 1-6
An underwhelming Liverpool left Leeds no chance at Elland Road: Klopp’s team, on Monday night, came out on top with a heavy 6-1 victory. Wimbledon stuff, in short.
In the first half, the Reds came alive between the 35th and 39th minutes, with goals from Gakpo and Salah. With pride, at the beginning of the second half, the hosts halved the disadvantage thanks to Sinisterra. Then, however, it was a symphony in red with Diogo Jota’s double (he scored the third and fifth goals for the guests), another goal by Salah, and the icing on the cake by Darwin Núñez.
