Inter, Simone Inzaghi is not swayed by rumors
Simone Inzaghi’s words.
Simone Inzaghi spoke on the eve of Inter-Benfica: “We know that it is the second half of a very important match in which we start with an advantage. We know their value, we have to be good to come out on top and aware that we can be among the top four in Europe.”
“We know that what we have done and what has been is useless to remember, however, we know that in the league we are not in a situation that we wanted. The focus is on Benfica and tomorrow, we have a lead not to be managed, but a game to be played to the best of our ability against a valuable team. They, like us, are down in results, but not in game proposal. They lost three in one week, but with three games in line with their value.”
“We need to be better about what’s going on around us, we need to isolate ourselves. The expiring players are different, however, I see them working daily and well. It’s part of soccer to be in the balance, it’s part of our job and we have to be strong and cool-headed to think about the next competition.”
