Victor Osimhen not enough, Milan in semifinals
Napoli-Milan 1-1
AC Milan has qualified for the Champions League semifinals.
The Rossoneri, after winning 1-0 in the first leg, withstood a comeback attempt by Napoli, which was only able to draw in the final for a 1-1 draw that was not enough to avoid elimination.
In the first half, the hosts put the Rossoneri on the ropes, who, however, after wasting a penalty through Giroud, took the lead through the Frenchman himself, who did well to be ready on an assist from an overflowing Leao, to say the least. In the second half, Napoli collected chances but above all missed a penalty kick with Kvaratskhelia, hypnotized by Maignani. Useless in mid-recovery was Osimhen’s 1-1 header.
Milan will now face the winner of Inter-Benfica, with the Nerazzurri coming close to another Euro-derby after the 2-0 win in Lisbon.
