Ducati Corse General Manager Gigi Dall’Igna in his post weekend analysis in Austin addressed Pecco Bagnaia’s crash: “A ‘zero’ that hurts even more because it comes after dominating qualifying and the Sprint Race. A solid performance, continued in the race until the crash you don’t expect, just when everything seemed under control. So many exits and only 12 riders arrived at the finish line without a crash, a sign that the overall conditions were really difficult.”
“We certainly should not beat ourselves up, or allow this to undermine confidence and certainty: instead, we must learn with humility and with the knowledge that nothing is taken for granted,” are the words reported by Speedweek.
