Dinamo Sassari, DeShawn Stephens sends clear message to teammates

Dinamo Sassari, Stephens confident: “If we play as a team we can compete with everyone.”

Dinamo Sassari will face Virtus Bologna in the 28th day of Serie A. A few days before the matchup, the Sardinian team’s wing DeShawn Stephens spoke at a press conference to introduce the game.

“It will be my first game against Bologna. It is a very strong team with a long division that is among the best. This league always puts us in tough battles and we will have to do what we have always done, so put our opponents in trouble and play our basketball to the fullest,” the U.S. forward began.

“I am very happy with the path I have taken since I arrived. I’ve tried to bring energy and positivity and it’s been great to share this path that has led us to playoff qualification. I think if we play as a team, we can be competitive with everyone until the end. Only by keeping this mentality can we bring home results,” Stephens added.
