Brogdon beat Quickley of the New York Knicks.

Awarded the important NBA Sixth Man of the Year award. Brogdon took it home with 408 votes. Behind him was Quickley of the New York Knicks, who finished with 326 total votes. Quite an accomplishment for Brogdon, sixth man for the Boston Celtics.

In his first year with the Celtics, Brogdon had an outstanding season starting from the bench. His stats have been truly remarkable (15 points, four assists and four rebounds average) and, most importantly, his contributions have been truly incredible. He thus takes home a prestigious and certainly deserved award. He succeeds, in the roll of honor, Herro of the Miami Heat.
