The words of Davide Cassani

Davide Cassani vented on Facebook after yet another incidete cost the life of a cyclist.

“What remains of a bicycle: a wheel, alone, a frame in the middle of the road between pedestrian crosswalks that also this time could not do anything. A few meters away Cristina, yet another victim of the road. And we mourn, blaming one or the other without doing absolutely nothing to put an end to these absurd deaths. Absurd because this cannot be accepted. In Milan, in less than 3 months, 7 people have lost their lives. They were pedestrians, cyclists, and now they are gone. Mowed down, run over, killed on the road. We go on like this, doing nothing but waiting for the next victim, to mourn, to blame one or the other without doing anything else. We go on like this, in a day maybe two, we will read in the newspaper about yet another victim. Until when? Do we do something about it? Our lives are at stake.”
