Superbike, Remy Gardner ticks in Assen

Saturday of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at the TT Circuit Assen opened with Free Practice 3 of the wet Pirelli Netherlands Round: at the end of the session ahead of everyone is Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team).

Gardner completes ten laps and finishes 711 thousandths ahead of Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), who is competitive in the wet and puts Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) and Axel Bassani (Motocorsa Racing) behind him. Fifth time for Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK).

Sixth was Loris Baz’s BMW (Bonovo Action BMW) who took advantage of the wet conditions on his return to the track after his leg injury. Xavi Vierge (Team HRC) on his Honda was seventh ahead of Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), followed by rookie Bradley Ray (Yamaha Motoxracing WorldSBK Team) and Dominique Aegerter (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team). 11th time trial for Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team), 19th for Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) and 20th for Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK).
