Spissu looks forward to donning blue tank top
Marco Spissu, with ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport,’ spoke among other things about the national team and what he expects from next summer’s World Cup.
Spissu’s is a message to coach Gianmarco Pozzecco and the Azzurri environment: “We want to continue what we did well in 2022,” he said, referring to the Eurobasket experience. “I can’t wait to find a group where we are all good together.
“All good guys,” added Spissu, “with a chemistry that helps on the court. In blue there is little time to prepare, the sooner a group is formed the better. It’s not a given.”
