Ducati, Dall’Igna warns Valentino Rossi and satellite teams
Ducati Corse general manager Gigi Dall’Igna in an interview with Speedweek spoke out on the future of satellite teams, “I’m really happy with how it’s going with eight bikes on the track, but we certainly can’t go on like this forever.” Team Pramac, Team VR46 and Team Gresini are set to expire in 2024.
Among these teams, the one most courted by other houses is Valentino Rossi’s: Yamaha has long been pressing the Doctor for a partnership after 2024.
Dall’Igna also commented on Bagnaia’s latest fall: “It must not undermine our convictions and confidence. You have to learn with humility, knowing that nothing is taken for granted and that you have to earn it against strong opponents.”
