The Azzurra sees Shiffrin as a stimulus
During an interview with the microphones of “Oa Sport,” Sofia Goggia, among other topics, wanted to say nice words for her colleagues Mikaela Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn, two top world skiers. The Bergamasque highlighted the merits of both opponents.
“Honestly Lindsey is still far from me in terms of victories. It’s hard to think I can catch up with her, also because she has won four times in the overall standings. I think it remains an impractical comparison. Mikaela, on the other hand, is a great champion and I think she will still win a lot in the coming years. The way I see it, I think she has to represent more of a stimulus prr to grow before an opponent to beat,” said the skier from Bergamo.
