During an interview with Oa Sport, Sofia Goggia wanted to shed light on her ambitions and upcoming goals. “Downhill aside, which will remain my main focus, the goal will be to return to the podium in super-G, where I think I have not fully expressed my potential in recent years. All of this by moving on from the giant slalom, which remains the starting point for developing everything else,” said the Bergamasque skier.

“Another goal is definitely world gold, which so far has eluded me. However, it must not become a fixed nail, also because results are achieved through a path of growth over time,” added the four-time downhill World Champion.

“I hope to perform well in Milan-Cortina as well, which is one of my favorite tracks. I think having an Olympic race on my home track is every skier’s dream. I honestly can’t wait for that moment to come,” Sofia Goggia concluded.
