NBA, Paolo Banchero wins Rookie of the Year title

The prestigious award has been won by all-stars such as Jordan and James

The classic icing on the cake. Banchero won the prestigious Rookie of the Year, an award reserved for those who did best in their first season in the golden NBA world. The Italian-American, Orlando star, beat out the competition. For the No. 1 pick in the latest NBA Draft as many as 98 votes (out of 100 available).

Banchero finished his first NBA season with respectable stats: 20 points, 6.9 rebounds and also averaged 3.7 assists per single contest. In addition, in the 34 games the Magic won, there was almost always his hand. With this award, Banchero enters NBA history alongside the likes of Bird, Jordan or James, also career winners of the Rookie of the Year award.

Another recognition for a pure talent who can only grow in the NBA, hoping to see him in action in the Italy jersey as well.
