F1, Lewis Hamilton sends warning to Mercedes
At the press conference to present the Baku GP, Lewis Hamilton spoke about his expectations for this race weekend. “After the podium in Melbourne I am confident. We have worked hard to get results even though it will not be easy to repeat. Hopefully we can also compete with the new format. I welcome it because I think we will all start as equals with a Sprint like this,” the British driver began about the Sprint Shootout.
“For Mercedes, this race will represent the start of a new path, which will take us where we want to be. We are not expecting an immediate recovery, but I am excited about what lies ahead and I am sure the work we are doing will help us improve,” added Lewis Hamilton.
