Valentino Rossi-Yamaha: there is the official announcement

The bond between Valentino Rossi and Yamaha is strengthened: on the sidelines of the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez de la Frontera, the Japanese company announced that the nine-time world champion has become its Brand Ambassador.

“Definitely this agreement between me and Yamaha gives me a great emotion . Valentino said. “We have worked together for many years in the past, so it seems natural. After I retired from MotoGP, I continued to train and ride motorcycles, I always planned to continue racing in one form or another. During my MotoGP career I rode Yamaha motorcycles as part of my contract, but even after I retired I continued to use Yamaha bikes because I enjoy them.”

“I am happy that the agreement has been signed, so Yamaha and I can work together in this new set-up.” An understanding that could be preparatory to a possible landing of the VR46 team in the Japanese stable when it finishes its contract with Ducati at the end of 2024, or perhaps a year earlier. Valentino Rossi himself, however, specified that everything is still up in the air on that front at the moment.
