F1, Charles Leclerc sends a clear message about the future
F1, Charles Leclerc confident: “I don’t need Red Bull to win the World Championship”
After a positive weekend in Baku, Charles Leclerc hopes to repeat himself in Miami. Meanwhile, at the microphones of “Bild,” the Monegasque driver returned to talk about his future: his contract with Ferrari will expire in 2024.
“The extension is not conditional on anything, because I believe in the squarda 100 percent and I place the utmost trust in them, from the mechanics to the team principal. The team must also believe in me. I think it is still early to talk about a new contract,” the Monegasque driver began.
“When I dream of winning the World Championship, in my mind I wear a red suit and get out of a red car. Not every driver can say that openly, but I think anyone would like to race for Ferrari, and I am very lucky to have that privilege. I don’t need to go to Red Bull to win the title,” added Charles Leclerc.
