Ivan Juric apologizes for Pellegri
Causing discussion on the sidelines of Sampdoria-Torino was Pietro Pellegri’s gesture after the 2-0 Granata win (the former Genoan went to cheer under the bleachers occupied entirely by Doriani fans) and the brawl that broke out shortly afterward between players from both teams.
Ivan Juric, Torino’s coach, publicly apologized for Pellegri, speaking to the microphones of ‘Dazn’: “I feel I have to apologize on behalf of everyone for Pellegri’s gesture,” he said, “there was a lack of maturity: it is absolutely to be condemned.
“There are moments when it is necessary to understand the state of mind of the opponents,” Juric added. “One must show respect.
