F1, Ralf Schumacher lapidary on Sergio Perez: “He doesn’t have the consistency of Verstappen”

A few days before the Miami GP, Ralf Schumacher spoke to “Sky Sport Deutschland” about the rainbow fight between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez and the Mexican driver’s chances of beating the two-time world champion.

“From a World Championship perspective I think Checo does not have the same consistency as Verstappen. Sometimes he makes mistakes under pressure when he is not too happy with the car, as happened in Melbourne. Max, on the other hand, is always careful and makes very few mistakes, so I think he will be the better driver over the course of the season. In Red Bull, then they have drivers like Tsunoda and Ricciardo. If the relationship between Verstappen and Perez becomes difficult. it is logical that to say goodbye would be the Mexican,” these are the words of Ralf Schumacher.

After the former Racing Point driver’s success in Baku, the Dutch driver’s lead has shrunk to just six points.
