MotoGp, Jorge Lorenzo’s dig at Yamaha
MotoGp, Jorge Lorenzo lapidary about Yamaha
During an interview with the official MotoGp channels, Jorge Lorenzo was blunt about Yamaha’s moment. “It was a pity that they didn’t keep me as a test rider. I know the bike very well and I think I could have helped them find the right way to evolve the M1. Since my departure they seem to be a little lost.”
“Yamaha has never had the best engine. That’s because it’s just the way the engine is made that is not ideal for maximum power. However, the bike is more agile and easier to take into corners. In the utmost years they seem to have lost these strengths, without even gaining in acceleration. Now it is an M1 with few certainties. I don’t want to say it’s terrible, but it certainly can’t compete for the title. Especially when you have the Ducatis, KTMs and Aprilias, who have made significant strides on the development of the bike,” these were the words of the miaorchino.
