New record for Carlos Alcaraz

With his success against Borna Coric in the semifinals of the Madrid Masters 1000, Carlos Alcaraz has brought to 117 singles victories on the ATP Tour, out of 150 matches played: a true record for precocity, with the Murcian able to do better in this respect than racquet legends of the caliber of John McEnroe and Rafa Nadal.

The American, in his first 150 matches, had “stopped” at 113 victories while the Mallorcan had managed to win 112. They are followed in the special ranking by two other absolute phenomena such as Mats Wilander (111) and Andre Agassi (110).

A special record then, which by the way comes on the day Alcaraz turns 20 years old.
