PSG, Lionel Messi apologizes

An apology has arrived from Lionel Messi. The Argentine star, suspended by PSG for two weeks for a trip to Saudi Arabia without the Parisian club’s permission, released a video on his Instagram account in which he apologized to club and teammates.

“I want to make this video to explain what is happening. First of all, of course, I apologize to my teammates and the club for what happened,” he stressed. “I honestly thought we would have a day off as we always have in the past weeks after every game. I had arranged for Monday this trip to Arabia and I could not cancel it as he had done in the past. I repeat, I apologize for what happened now I wait to go up what the club will decide to do about my situation.”
